Think Energy Campaign in South Dublin County Council

In 2016, Codema expanded the Think Energy campaign, which was created as part of the FP7 Buildsmart project, to South Dublin County Council’s County Hall building.  This campaign is being implemented in collaboration with the OPW’s Optimising Power @ Work initiative, and Codema developed a 12-month activity programme and has delivered the following energy awareness activities to date:

  • Campaign launch with interactive displays in County Hall – April 2016
  • Energy awareness staff survey – April 2016
  • Staff Energy Mythbusters Quiz – May 2016
  • Summer energy-saving tips – Jun-Aug 2016
  • Lunchtime energy-saving talk – October 2016
  • Children’s Christmas colouring competition – November-December 2016

Codema will continue to implement Think Energy in South Dublin County Council and Dublin City Council buildings in 2017, and the campaign will also be launched in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council’s County Hall building early next year.
